- StandardGetFiles 0.99 by Dean Yu
- The MacHack ’91 Release
- ===========================
-
- So I was working on some skanky hack or other
- (what else is new?) when I thought to myself, “Y’know,
- it’s a total pain to keep going to Standard File when I
- want to open a whole bunch of files. It’d be totally
- cool if I could open a whole lot of files at once…”
-
- StandardGetFiles is an extension that will allow you
- to shift-select in the Standard File list under System 7.
- That’s it. Sorry, no bunnies.
-
- Misfeatures
- ===========
-
- Hey, it’s only a hack, and I’ve got a real job, so it doesn’t
- do everything that I want it to. Things to watch out for:
- • You can’t do anything with directories. If you select
- a directory, StandardGetFiles ignores it. (Unless it’s the
- first one, in which case, it gets handled as usual.)
-
-
- Other Stuff
- ===========
-
- I made the mistake of giving out my old phone number and
- address in the Read Me for an older version of NetBunny. I’ve
- since been innundated with calls about NetBunny crashes, updates,
- rumours, etc. So I’m not going to give that information out
- with my hacks any more. You’ll have to find me through e-mail
- now. (It’s not as bad as it sounds. I read my mail much too
- often.) You can reach me at nerm@apple.com.
